Welcome to Yōso Wellness. You’ve just stepped into a circle of care designed to help you return — to balance, to presence, to yourself.
Yōso means “raw elements” in Japanese, and that spirit lives in everything we do. Rooted in both ancestral wisdom and modern science, our rituals are crafted to support the skin, soothe inflammation, calm the nervous system, and restore what’s been quietly depleted.
For me, this is deeply personal. My Japanese heritage taught me reverence for rhythm, nature, and the everyday rituals that sustain us. These aren’t trends — they’re truths. At Yōso, we don’t chase more. We remember enough.
Since 2012, Yōso has grown into a trusted space in Santa Cruz for advanced skin therapies, inflammation care, and sensory healing rituals that guide people through stress, burnout, or simply craving a pause. In a world crowded with fleeting fads and quick-fix promises, Yōso remains devoted to timeless practices and products that are deeply effective, intentional, and enduring.
Every facial, massage, acupuncture, wellness session, or sensory healing ritual is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and remember the body’s quiet intelligence.
I believe wellness isn’t about performance. It’s about restoration. A return to what heals.
I’m honored you’re here — and grateful to walk this path with you. With reverence,
Jennalee Dahlen
Founder + Visionary -
Over the past fifteen years, I’ve devoted myself to the craft of esthetics. Not just as a service, but as a sacred practice.
From psoriasis to acne, aging to grief, every skin I’ve touched has taught me something. I’ve completed more than four hundred hours of advanced case studies, authored over 175 pages of clinical documentation, and filmed 140+ educational videos.
It’s been an honor to be named the 2025 Esthetician of the Year, and to become a 15-time International Award-Winning Esthetician between 2022 and 2025. But my deepest reward is witnessing someone leave with lighter shoulders, a softened gaze, and the quiet knowing that they’ve returned to themselves.
I continue to study and deepen. Manual lymphatic drainage. Facial reflexology. Oncology esthetics. Gua sha. Reiki. Gemstone work. Ingredient formulation. Because the more I learn, the more I can offer. For the skin. For the nervous system. For the spirit.

Yōso was never just a spa.
It was always a return. To what heals.
To what matters.
To what’s real.Every touchpoint, from the way we answer the phone to the way we hold the face in our hands, is a moment of care. I want every person who steps into this circle to feel known. To feel met. To feel like there is nothing they need to be but themselves.
This is more than a career.
It is the work of my life. And it’s one I get to live beside my three daughters, our radiant Yōso team, and the beautiful humans who find their way to our door.
Thank you for being here.
Welcome home.
